Fullerton is really two cities when it comes to cleaning. Up in Raymond Hills, Golden Hill and Sunny Hills, many houses are 60 to 100 years old, with original hardwood, built-in shelves and vintage tile. Down in Amerige Heights and the newer tracts, homes are bigger and more open, with large kitchens and a lot of floor. Both need a good clean, but not the same one.

Older homes in the hills

Original hardwood should be cleaned with a damp mop, never a wet one, and a cleaner that is safe for wood. Built-ins, window seats and wood trim collect dust in every ledge, so they get dusted by hand rather than sprayed. Vintage tile in kitchens and bathrooms is cleaned gently, because older glazes do not like harsh chemicals. Baseboards are dusted every visit, and wiped by hand during the first deep cleaning.

Newer homes in Amerige Heights and the tracts

Here the work is size and traffic. Open kitchens mean long counters, a big island, the stovetop, the sink and the appliance fronts. Large floors get vacuumed and mopped room by room, and with three or four bathrooms, each one is cleaned and disinfected every visit.

Move-out season around Cal State Fullerton

Leases near campus turn over at the end of each semester. Move-out cleaning starts from $249 for the first 2 hours, then $100 per additional hour. Book it for the day after the movers leave, before the walkthrough.

How pricing works

Every new home starts with a deep cleaning, from $249 for the first 2 hours. During that visit we see the home and set your price for weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning, recurring from $120 a visit. Nothing to pay at booking, no contracts, always two background-checked cleaners, the same team every visit, Monday to Friday.
