San Clemente has the red tile roofs and white walls of the original Spanish village, small beach homes near the pier and North Beach, and newer two story neighborhoods up in Talega and Forster Ranch. A deep clean means different materials and different dirt in each.
San Clemente is the far south end of our area, so we group south county jobs on the same days. That keeps the time in your home, and there is no travel charge.
Spanish style homes have saltillo or terracotta floors, textured plaster walls and exposed wood beams. Unsealed terracotta soaks up water and dirty mop water alike, so it gets a barely damp clean with a neutral product, and the grout lines are brushed. Beams and the tops of plaster ledges hold a lot of dust and are cleaned with extension tools.
Homes close to the water have sand in every track and corner and a salt film on the glass. Bathrooms and closets on outside walls can get damp. A deep clean vacuums every track first, cleans the inside glass with plenty of clean water and treats mildew in bathroom grout and caulk.
The newer neighborhoods on the hills are mostly two story homes with big windows, quartz kitchens and glass showers. Wind from the open hills brings fine dust onto sills and fan blades, and hard water leaves a film on shower glass. That is where the time goes in a first deep clean.
Many families from Camp Pendleton live in San Clemente. If you are settling into a new home after a move, a deep clean before you unpack, or a few weeks after, takes care of what the last occupants left. If the home is still empty, a move in clean is the better fit.
Not part of a deep clean: moving heavy furniture, shampooing carpets, outside windows on a second floor, and litter boxes or cages. More detail on deep cleaning and deep vs regular cleaning.
A deep clean is $249 for the first two hours, then $100 for each additional hour. You get an estimate before we start and pay after the work is done.
A small beach cottage can finish near the starting price. A two story Talega home with three bathrooms takes longer. You get an estimate before we start.
