SparkleIt has been based in Orange since 2006. A deep clean is the visit where we get to the buildup a weekly clean never reaches: the grease film on cabinet doors, hard water on the shower glass, dust packed into window tracks and on top of every door.
Most homes in Orange start here. One proper deep clean brings every room to the same baseline, and after that a regular visit from $120 keeps it there instead of fighting the same grime every time.
Orange is one city with very different houses in it, and each part of town builds up dirt in its own way. A good deep clean starts by knowing where to look.
In Orange Park Acres, Orange Hills, Serrano Heights and along Santiago Canyon Road, the fall Santa Ana winds push fine dust through every gap in a window frame and under every sliding door. It settles on ceiling fan blades, in blinds, on top of kitchen cabinets and deep in the slider tracks. Horse property adds arena sand that gets walked in all year.
That dust is gritty, so we never dry dust it across glass, stone or a polished table. It gets lifted with damp microfibre, and the tracks are vacuumed and wiped out rather than brushed around. If there has been ash after a nearby fire, tell us. Ash gets the same damp treatment, never a dry duster.
Many of the tract homes west of the 55 and around El Modena still have their original or early cabinet doors. Years of cooking leave a sticky film on the doors closest to the range, on the range hood and on the wall behind the stove. It looks like dirty wood, but most of it is grease.
We take it off with a degreaser that is safe for painted and stained finishes and dry the doors as we go. Scrubbing harder with the wrong product strips the finish, and then the cabinet looks worse clean than it did dirty.
Orange County tap water is hard, and in Orange you see it on glass shower doors, around faucet bases, on the shower head and in the toilet bowl ring. Regular cleaning keeps up with fresh spots. A deep clean is when we take off the layers that have built up for months. If you want the background, our post on hard water in Orange County explains why the shower looks dirty again a week after cleaning.
The historic homes around the Plaza get a deep clean too, just with stricter rules: no wet mopping on original hardwood, nothing acidic on vintage fixtures, no bleach on old unsealed grout. We wrote those rules out on our Orange house cleaning page, and they apply on every visit.
Everything in a regular clean, plus the parts of the house that only get done properly a few times a year.
Not part of a deep clean: moving heavy furniture, shampooing carpets, outside windows on a second floor, and litter boxes or cages. If something on your list needs a different trade, we say so before we start.
For the full list and how it compares with a regular visit, see deep cleaning and deep cleaning vs regular cleaning.
A deep clean is $249 for the first two hours, then $100 for each additional hour. There is no travel charge anywhere in Orange, because this is where we start from.
Time depends on bathrooms, kitchen grease and how many windows and tracks there are, far more than on square footage. A small condo near the Outlets may finish close to the starting price. A two story home in Serrano Heights with three bathrooms takes longer. You get an estimate before we start, and you pay after the work is done, by cash, Venmo, Zelle, check or a card link.
After the first deep clean, regular weekly or every other week cleaning starts at $120 a visit, because the heavy work is already done.
We clean Monday to Friday. If a date matters, call or text 657-557-0093 and we will tell you what is really open.
A lived-in two or three bedroom home usually needs more than the first two hours on a first deep clean, mostly because of bathrooms, kitchen grease and window tracks rather than floor area. We give you an estimate before we start, and you only pay for the time it actually took.
Yes, but tell us when you book. Both take real time, so we plan for them instead of squeezing them into the end of the visit.
It is worth doing once properly, then keeping up with regular visits. Arena sand and canyon dust are slightly abrasive, so we lift them with damp microfibre instead of pushing them across glass and stone. After that, an every other week visit keeps it under control.
Yes. We clean Monday to Friday, and the week before Thanksgiving fills first, so book one to two weeks ahead. A deep clean a few days before guests arrive leaves time for a quick touch up if you need it.
No. Many clients in Orange leave a key, a lockbox or a door code. Tell us how to get in when you book, and we lock up when we leave.
We do not move heavy furniture, shampoo carpets, clean the outside of upstairs windows or clean litter boxes and cages. We will tell you up front if something on your list needs a different trade.

From $249 for the first two hours. Nothing is charged until the work is done.
