Newer buildings in the Lantern District often have rules for move hours, elevator use and vendor parking. Tell us the rules when you book. In these units the kitchen, the bathroom, the balcony door and its track are what the owner or manager checks first.
When an owner stops renting a home to vacation guests and sells it or rents it long term, the place needs a full move out clean: inside every drawer and cabinet, closets, bathroom grout and vents, not just a quick turnover.
Near the coast, closets on outside walls and bathrooms without strong fans can hide mildew behind furniture. Once the home is empty we clean those walls and shelves and tell you if something needs more than cleaning before the walkthrough.
