Costa Mesa sits just inland from Newport Beach, close enough that the ocean air reaches most of the city. Its homes range from small Eastside bungalows and remodeled cottages to 1960s family houses in Mesa Verde and newer condos and apartments around South Coast Metro.
We come from Orange, with no travel charge. After the first deep clean, regular cleaning from $120 a visit keeps the house at that level.
Morning marine layer keeps the air damp for much of the year, especially in late spring and early summer. Small bathrooms without strong fans get mildew in the grout, along the caulk and on the ceiling above the shower. Older windows collect condensation and grime on the sills and in the tracks. A deep clean takes care of all of those, and we tell you if caulk needs replacing rather than scrubbing it apart.
Many Eastside homes are small older houses that have been remodeled, sometimes more than once. You often find a new kitchen next to an original bathroom, or new flooring next to old trim. Each surface gets the product that suits it, which matters more in a small house where everything is close together.
Homes around Mesa Verde and the Westside family streets were mostly built in the 1950s and 1960s. Kitchens, original bathrooms, vent covers and ceiling fans hold the most buildup. Homes near the golf course and the open spaces get extra dust on sills and patio doors.
Around South Coast Metro and the Westside there are many condos and apartments. In a smaller unit the deep clean is concentrated in the kitchen, the bathroom and the balcony slider, and it often finishes close to the starting price.
Not part of a deep clean: moving heavy furniture, shampooing carpets, outside windows on a second floor, and litter boxes or cages. More detail on deep cleaning and deep vs regular cleaning.
A deep clean is $249 for the first two hours, then $100 for each additional hour. You get an estimate before we start and pay after the work is done.
A condo or a small bungalow often finishes near the starting price. A larger family home with three bathrooms takes longer. You get an estimate before we start.
