On low, damp ground, closets on outside walls and the corners behind furniture can hide mildew that nobody saw while the house was full. When the house is empty we clean closet walls, shelves and corners, and tell you if something needs more than cleaning before the buyer or landlord sees it.
Single story homes usually have the laundry in the garage or near the back door. The floor there, the door into the house and the area behind the machines once they are gone get cleaned as part of the job.
