Santa Ana has some of the finest older homes in the county in Floral Park, French Park and Park Santiago, and it has many busy family homes and apartments where a lot of people live under one roof. A deep clean means very different work in each.
Santa Ana is about ten minutes from our base in Orange, so there is no travel charge and short notice visits are often possible.
Homes from the 1920s and 1930s have built in china cabinets with glass doors, window seats, original wood floors and detailed trim. Glass in old cabinet doors is cleaned by hand and kept dry at the edges so the wood does not swell. Floors get a barely damp microfibre pass, never a wet mop.
Old houses also have more places for dust to settle: picture rails, door tops with deep moldings, and radiator or wall heater covers. Those are part of every deep clean here.
In homes where three generations or a big family live together, the kitchen works hard every day and the bathrooms never get a break. A deep clean focuses there first: grease on cabinet doors and the range hood, soap scum, grout lines and the base of every toilet. We work around the family's day and do not need everyone out of the house.
Apartments and condos in the newer buildings downtown and around South Coast Metro are smaller and quicker. Most of the time goes into the kitchen, the bathroom and the balcony door track. A deep clean there often fits close to the starting price.
Not part of a deep clean: moving heavy furniture, shampooing carpets, outside windows on a second floor, and litter boxes or cages. More detail on deep cleaning and deep vs regular cleaning.
A deep clean is $249 for the first two hours, then $100 for each additional hour. You get an estimate before we start and pay after the work is done.
An apartment often finishes near the starting price. A historic home with built ins and original floors, or a busy family house with several bathrooms, takes longer. You get an estimate before we start.
