Garden Grove has a lot of rentals: duplexes and small buildings on the side streets, apartment complexes along Garden Grove Boulevard, Brookhurst and Harbor, and family houses rented out by their owners. In almost every one of them, the kitchen decides how the walkthrough goes.
A move out clean covers the inside of the oven, the fridge and every cabinet, plus bathrooms, closets, baseboards and window tracks. We come from Orange, with no travel charge.
When a family has cooked in a kitchen for years, grease sits on the cabinet doors, inside the cabinets near the stove, on the hood and on the wall behind the range. That is the first thing a landlord looks at. We degrease all of it, including the inside of the cabinets and the area behind and beside the stove where it can be moved safely.
Private landlords who own a duplex or a fourplex usually do the walkthrough themselves and know the unit well. They notice the same things: the oven, the bathroom grout, the old aluminum window tracks and the floor along the walls. We clean to that, and you are welcome to tell us what your landlord mentioned.
When a house is sold or a long time tenant family moves out, the converted garage or back room, the laundry area and the side door often need as much work as the kitchen. Tell us what is there so the estimate is honest.
Not included: carpet shampooing, grout restoration, paint and patching, and pressure washing outside. Doing part of it yourself? Use our move out cleaning checklist.
Under California Civil Code 1950.5 a landlord may charge for cleaning only to bring the unit back to how clean it was at move in. More on deposits on our Orange move out page. General information, not legal advice.
A move out or move in clean is $249 for the first two hours, then $100 for each additional hour. You get an estimate before we start and pay after the work is done.
An empty one bedroom unit usually finishes near the starting price. A family house with a heavily used kitchen takes longer.
We clean Monday to Friday. Call or text 657-557-0093 if a date matters.
In most cases, yes. Grease on cabinets, the hood and the wall behind the stove comes off with time and the right degreaser. Damaged finish or stains in the wood do not, and we tell you before we start.
No. We clean to the same list. If your landlord told you what they will check, tell us and we pay extra attention there.
No. Leave a key or a lockbox code and we lock up when we finish.
